#LAWTAKE - AEW RAMPAGE 3/15/24

A rare read - Chad Law dropping a Law Take for AEW Rampage. It was a quiet Friday night for me what can I say? I had time to catch up on all the wrassling.

Best Friends being in the tag division is best for businsss. Orange and Trent work very well. Chuck T is the most boring of the three so his lack of inclusion isn’t bad.

  • Where the fuck do Dark Order be hiding?? If rankings mattered (ha!) it’s no way they heirarchy on it!

  • Oh this is where Saraya has been this whole time? Backstage segments with Harley Cameron still? Cool.

  • Toni Storm & Mariah May would be a jiggy tag team in the AEW Womens Division if Tony Khan ever created those belts because anything is possible in Elite-land.

  • More Toni Storm squash matches. Or maybe I should watch more Rampage?

  • Deonna Purazzo is not gonna stop this feud until she gets beaten again. Or turns on Thunder Rosa and pivots both of them away from a feud with Toni. Or makes this a triple threat. I’m going booking crazy.

  • Toni Storm & Mariah May’s story feel like what we never got to see blossom with DMD & Jamie Hayter. My weekly post about missing either of those two.

  • Thunder Rosa back, consistently 👍🏾👍🏾 s/o the Roses.

  • Queen Aminata thriving in ROH 👍🏾👍🏾 s/o the Juicies. Great little promo there.

  • One thing for CERTAIN - AEW got the YAMS. Sweeeeet… Yaaaaamssss!

  • Kommander is going to show up and show out and then take a pin. Tonight Takeshita was the victor as he needed any bit of a bounce back from his loss at the PPV to Ospreay.

  • This match was definitely good. But will be forgotten by the next program.

  • Chris Jericho should stick to commentary more than being an on-screen personality. Truly.

  • Next up three guys with belts that were in the main event of the last AEW PPV of 2023 showed up and wrestled Top Flight in a trios match. Top Flight, Action Andretti… yeah I am a fool for not believing this trio made so much sense months ago just off the names.

  • Mike Bennett looks like Eric Young’s younger cousin who can’t get over on any program he’s on.

  • Matt Taven once was a focal point for ROH and the ROH World Title scene and tonight he’s promoting Tag belts that never get defended.

  • Undisputed Kingdom win in the main event and nothing advances really. Roderick Strong still International Champion with no real contender and The Kingdom still ROH Tag Champions with no real contenders. Just fast paced wrestling across the board tonight.

  • 6/10 for me overall. Not the best highlighted or noteworthy show but at least the matches were competitive and enticing.

Thank you for reading in my pals and until the next Law Take…
